Kim & Crue // A styled sunset session + a surprise engagement

I started planning this session a few months back..and once I had a vision in mind, I knew the perfect couple to ask to help me with this. I was so giddy when Kim and Crue were overjoyed that I asked them to do a session with me. They were so involved with wanting to wear just the right things and making everything go together perfectly, as I was..so fun! I loved collaborating with some great vendors as well for this. We planned this session (after delaying it for a couple months, yes months) so that we could finally have some warm weather for it. I am so glad we did! We had a perfect late spring evening and the light was pure magic. It helped that I had model worthy subjects in front of me as well. Kim and Crue were a breeeeze to photograph and I loved every minute of it!I think my favorite part of the session, however, was the surprise planned for the end. Crue had contacted me about a month or so before and asked if he could propose to Kim during the shoot. Without hesitation I probably shreiked over the phone in excitement...YESSS! So we worked out a little plan for him to pop the question at the end of the evening. The proposal was so sweet and Kim was completely shocked and elated. it was so fun to capture such an exciting and emotional time in their lives. Happy wedding planning you two, and stop being so darn cute already. No, don't. :)
