Movement & nature // a pnw inspired session

It's always such a joy to meet and work with local vendors. Ones who have such a heart for helping their clients visions come to life. But first, a little back story & my inspiration for this shoot...In April, I had the amazing privilege of traveling out to Oregon for The Journey workshop with Jamie Jones Photography. Her knowledge of her craft simply shines through in her work. It's stunning. More images and all about that wonderful weekend though coming soon, in another post! My hubby also flew out and met me after the workshop and we enjoyed having a few extra days to relax, explore Oregon's amazing coastline, and just spend some much needed time away together. I loved everything about Oregon. I loved how there were so many different types of scenery, so close to each other. From the breezy, rocky coastline, to the beautiful tall pines that lined the sides of the mountains, and all the moss & other greenery growing everywhere. I mean I could hardly wrap my head around all the beauty! The casual, free spirit feel and the laid back style of the pnw natives was a breath of fresh air as well. I was so inspired by all of this, that even before I came home from this trip, I started dreaming up a shoot that I could do to tie all of these elements together, and embody that vibe.
