Chitown, a girl named Jill, and where's Waldo?
A few weeks back, some of us girls took the train up to Chicago for the day. The plan was to get some more shots of Jill while we were up there, but to also get in some good eats and shopping..and that we definitely did!
One of our first stops (once we finally started going the right direction that is!) was the infamous 'bean' in Millenium Park. I really wanted to get some cool shots of Jill here, but I don't think that it had EVER been as busy as it was that day. It didn't help that it was a Saturday, but there was also this big fashion show going on, just a few hundred feet away. So it would have been a little hard to work around all the people, so we scrapped that idea.
However, a really nice lady offered to snap a picture of all of us together, which was really nice! :)
Just in case you are still wondering the age old question, 'where's waldo'? He was definitely standing right next to us! Small world eh?
Love the faces too girls. Must have been practicing for the fashion show down the way? ;)
We walked a little further and found this really cool corrugated metal type building so Jill and I made a pit stop for a few shots. This was such a COOL location!
We stopped for lunch at the Grand Lux Cafe. I had never been before, and if you haven't either..I would highly recommend it. Yummy! I think one of the girls said that it is owned by the same people who run the Cheesecake Factory, so if you're still debating on whether or not to go..there's your sign. Get there now. :)
And just a few more fun images of Jill that day..
Girls, I hope we can make this a new yearly tradition..so much fun!
