Emily, PCHS graduate
Oh, Miss Emily...where to start. I've known her since she was just a little pipsqueak! She and her sister stayed with our family for a short period of time when they were younger, and it was so fun to have them around. The funniest thing I remember was this little trick she could do with her stomach, called 'hot dog/hamburger'. I don't want to embarrass her too much with that, so I'll spare the details he he! Emily has grown into such a beautiful young woman, however she still has that fun & spunky personality (note the shot of her crossing her eyes at me-don't kill me Em!) of that little girl with braids who used to follow me around. :)
I really try to encourage my clients to think of hobbies/interests that they may like to incorporate into their session. It makes their images unique, more special to them, and I just love a great story behind an image! Emily collects vintage cameras (a girl after my own heart!) and so she brought along one of them to her session. Loved some of the shots we got with it! Also, sticking to the vintage theme, she brought along an old chair that she had gotten reupholstered and we rocked some shots with that. We shot at one of my favorite areas for senior portraits, and her bright and fun style went SO well with the funky wall murals & graffiti splashed places we found.
Miss Emily I wish you the best as you head off to college up north and I hope to catch up with all of you sooner, rather than later! Enjoy the peek!!
