Jake + Shannon // e-session part one...on the farm

Jake & Shannon...I've known these two from way back when. Jake used to be my backdoor neighbor; and us along with a few other friends that lived close by may have given our parents a few gray hairs growing up. We've had some fun times, and speaking of fun...that is the perfect word to describe Shannon. She can tell a story like no one else on earth. She'll have your rolling on the floor laughing..that girl's got a gift! Their personalities just mesh so well together & it was cute  to see them start dating and then eventually get engaged. I was SO thrilled when they asked me to be a part of their wedding. I can't wait for your big day in October!I love to incorporate places or things that are close to my couple's hearts for their engagement sessions. I just feel it gives their images so much more meaning and really tells the story of their relationship. These two love their dogs. I mean a lot. It's kind of cute. (It wasn't so cute when I managed to step in some fresh doggie do-do after dodging dozens of cow patties earlier in the session..but it made for a good laugh!!) So they brought along their pups and we shot the session at Shannon's farm where she grew up. We had some gorgeous evening light for their shoot to go along with the pretty scenery...enjoy the peek!
