Jake + Shannon // e-session part two...in the city

So during the planning of this couple's session, as we were discussing places that meant something to Jake & Shannon..I remembered that he had proposed to her on one of their weekend trips up to the city. They love going up to Chicago and since this was somewhere that means a lot to both of them, I thought it would be fun to do the second part of their engagement session there! So we planned a Saturday a couple weeks back and lucked out on some amazing weather and robin egg blue skies, it was perfect. The city was swarming with people (as always!) but we still managed to sneak some great shots of just the two of them. I love that there is SUCH a variety of backdrops in Chicago..from the Bean in Millennium Park, to Navy Pier, and even the beautiful waters of Lake Michigan. We even grabbed a few shots in front of the DuSable bridge, which happens to be the very spot where Jake proposed. Love the story behind those images...
